Here is what we need:
- Kitten and puppy formula and dry kibble for the little ones. We have puppies and kittens coming in year round so these items are always in high demand.
- Martingale collars (all sizes) and leashes. Each week we are sending many pets on rescue transports who all need collars and leashes.
- Cleaning supplies: Clorox Bleach, Dawn dish soap, hand sanitizer, heavy duty trash bags, laundry detergent and paper towels
Recently we received a wonderful donation of cat and dog supplies. Patches our black and white yard cat inspects the goods while Nilla, a staff pet keeps an eye on the goods.
- Money: By contributing to the fund below you will enable us to purchase meds for every pet who comes through our doors. Basic vaccinations and tests on dogs cost over $26/dog and close to $20/cat. With hundreds coming in each month, it all adds up! In addition, we will use your donation to cover medical emergencies and help defray transportation costs as we relocate some of our pets to forever homes in the Northeast. Your money will not be used to cover basic operational expenses such as salaries, wages, water/sewer, electricity, etc. It will be applied directly to benefit an animal in need. The Darlington County Humane Society is non-profit, and your donations are tax deductible within the limits of the law.
- Update February 15: We are close to reaching a wonderful milestone with our Facebook Community. In no time, we will be making our 3000th friend! Help us celebrate this milestone by giving today. Consider a donation of $3, $13, $30, $33, $130, $300, etc to help us buy vaccines for the pets who are counting on us.
