Several stores contribute to DCHS when you shop there. All you need to do is register. Currently participating stores are Food Lion and Bi-Lo. Please take the time to register for these wonderful programs. Just think, every time you shop, you will be giving back to needy pets in Darlington County!
Food Lion
Food Lion offers a special program to its MVP shoppers which allows them to give back to their charity of choice. Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, Food Lion will donate a portion of your purchases to us! Simply register your MVP card and designate us as your charity of choice. Even if you don't regularly shop at Food Lion (we realize Hartsville no longer has one), by registering your card, you will help us meet the minimum enrollment threshold for the program to kick in for us.

Click on Register your MVP Card (center of page)

Tell your friends, family and co-workers to link their cards to us as well! The more the merrier.
Bi-Lo
Bi-Lo's program works the same way as Food Lion's. Each time you shop at Bi-Lo and use your Bi-Lo shoppers card, Bi-Lo will donate a portion of your purchases to us. To designate us as you charity of choice, hand the bar code click here along with your Bi-Lo card to any cashier and ask them to sign you up. It's that easy! Keep in mind the Bi-Lo program runs August - May so starting July 1 you will need to redesignate us as your choice of charity. We will try our best to remind you.
Purina Weight Circle Program:
Help us earn money to offset our vet bills. By collecting weight circles off Purina dry dog and cat food, we will earn points which we can redeem to help with some of our vetting expenses. Simply clip the weight circle off the bag and deposit in our envelope at the following locations:

Darlington County Animal Shelter, Darlington
First Church of God, Darlington
Holland House Stylists, Hartsville

Searching on Line
Goodsearch, an on line search engine, will contribute $.01 to DCHS every time you use its services. To take advantage of their offer, simply enter in Darlington County Humane Society in the space that reads, "Who do you Goodsearch for?" Just think each time you search on line you will be giving back directly to animals in need. Take the time now to make your home page Goodsearch and let the animals reap the benefit!
